As the first grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Mr. Cousteau spent his early years aboard his famous grandfather’s ships, Calypso and Alcyone; learning how to scuba dive on his fourth birthday. In 2016 he founded his non-profit, the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center (FCOLC) to fulfil his dream of creating a vehicle to make a positive change for the Ocean. Currently Mr. Cousteau dedicates much of his time to PROTEUS™, the International Space Station of the Ocean, and the initiatives of his non-profit—Sea Turtle Conservation and Women Empowerment, Coral Reef Resilience, Mangrove and Sea Grass Restoration, Beach Clean Ups, Ocean Discovery Educational Curriculum Program and other marine restoration programs.
Mr. Cousteau is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board for Proteus Ocean Group (POG), an Explorers Club Member and a WWF Ocean Witness. He is a Board Member of River Keepers, member of the SeaKeepers Science Council, Advisory Board Member for Map The Gaps, Advisor to Harbor School, Advisor to United By The Sea, and the Honorary Advisor to the NGO Committee Sustainable Development-NY. He has received several awards including Travel & Leisure’s 2022 Global Vision Award, the United Nations NEXUS Global Goals Award for Excellence and Leadership, David Attenborough Excellence in Filmmaking Award, Golden Eagle Award for National Geographic documentary, Beneath The Sea "Diver of The Year", World Team “Pioneer For The Planet” Award, Peter Benchley Lifetime Award and is the ISS (International Super Yacht Society) Awards Judge and creator of the ISS Fabien Cousteau BLUE Award.
Mr. Wade joined The International SeaKeepers Society in 2003, becoming a Founding Member and subsequently a Board Member in 2006. His lifelong passion for the oceans drew him to the mission of ocean conservation and the unique role that the yachting community plays in addressing our seas' challenges. Since assuming the positions of Chairman and President of SeaKeepers in 2019, Mr Wade has been leading the organization's initiatives, with adopting sustainability measures across all platforms of the yachting industry and focusing on next generation learning forming the key focus of his leadership.
Currently, Mr. Wade splits his time between Oklahoma Technology Solutions, an information technology professional services firm, Fresh Fit Meals, a manufacturer of freshly prepared meals for health-conscious busy people and Flyover Software, a software development company.
With over 35 years of experience in the offshore and yachting industry, encompassing more than 600 marine projects, Julian brings extensive expertise in leveraging marine technology and innovation to optimise operational performance. He currently serves as the leader of Raffles Yacht Group, a prominent yacht brokerage company, and acts as their exclusive export sales and support partner for Asia Pacific in collaboration with Aquitalia Yachts. Julian also serves as the Senior Advisor, Asia at Burgess.
Julian is deeply committed to ocean conservation efforts and is recognized as one of Asia’s pioneering figures in environmental initiatives. He serves as a Board Member of The International SeaKeepers Society and holds the role of President for its Asia chapter. Firmly believing in the pivotal role of marine conservation in environmental protection, Julian is passionate about promoting sustainability and advocating for responsible investment strategies aimed at safeguarding our oceans. His overarching vision is to inspire the next generation to become conscientious stewards of our marine ecosystems in Asia and beyond.
MJ is the Co-Founder of the "Just Keep Thinking" educational media company where it merges education and entertainment to produce engaging content across various social media platforms. Dan Lundqvist brings a unique blend of cultural and professional experiences to the global conversation on marine conservation. Born in Sweden and raised in Japan, Dan studied at Doshisha University in Kyoto and began his career as a freelance writer, focusing on environmental protection and social issues. His passion for sustainability eventually led him to become the editor-in-chief of a web based media platform spotlighting the startup industry, and as a visiting lecturer on the subject of digital transformation at two local universities in Japan.
Since 2021, Dan has been a key figure at M-TEchX, a pioneering developer of nanofiber technology. He is primarily responsible for new business development and coordinating disaster responses involving oil absorbent nanofibers. His hands-on efforts during the 2023 oil spill in the Philippines revealed significant challenges in early response from both government and private sectors, highlighting the urgent need for global collaboration in environmental protection.
These experiences led to the establishment of the "We Peace Environment Association," a global network designed to enhance swift disaster response by uniting environmental organisations worldwide. His recent work culminated in a notable presence at COP28 in the UAE, where he championed innovative CO2-capturing nanofibers and cellulose nanofibers made from plant waste—key contributions to CO2 reduction and environmental sustainability.
Chavalit Frederick Tsao is the fourth-generation leader of TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), a family business with over 120 years of history. Born in Hong Kong, he joined the business at 20 and became chairman at 37. He also chaired Intercargo, where he introduced innovative platforms to promote collaboration in the maritime sector.
With deep insights into global sustainability challenges, Chavalit founded the East West Cultural Development Centre in 1995 to explore integrating ancient wisdom with modern science. This approach led him to champion a transformation in business, emphasising a well-being mandate that balances profit with positive societal impact. Under his leadership, TPC is on a mission to "Serve Well-being of Life and Create Wealth at the Same Time." Chavalit’s vision extends to pioneering OCTAVE, a business model that promotes an integrated life journey towards well-being.
TPC also supports three non-profits — The No. 17 Foundation, Restore Nature Foundation, and OCTAVE Institute — that collaborate with organizations and thought leaders to restore nature and foster relationships. Prof Lawrence Loh is the Director of the Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore, and a Professor in Practice of Strategy and Policy.
At CGS, Prof Loh oversees the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index and the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard. He leads the CGS team for the Sustainability Impact Awards in Singapore and directs sustainability assessments for companies listed on the Singapore Exchange. Additionally, he heads the ASEAN sustainability reporting initiative across six countries and the Asia-Pacific sustainability reporting assessment spanning 14 jurisdictions. Prof Loh is a lead investigator on sustainable banking for all listed banks in ASEAN and spearheads market studies on climate and biodiversity reporting in the region. He also serves as a judge for various corporate sustainability awards in Singapore and Asia.
A recipient of multiple teaching excellence awards, Prof Loh conducts executive development programs in ESG for leading institutions across Asia-Pacific and Singapore, and is a Visiting Professor at the Wealth Management Institute. He earned a PhD in Management from MIT, where his thesis on technology governance won first prize in a global doctoral competition.
Kenny Lim has been a transformative force in the battery recycling industry, starting with his impactful work at SMC Industrial. Upon joining SMC, Kenny quickly identified key areas for improvement, implementing strategic changes that turned the company around within just six months. His efforts not only stabilised the business but also made it attractive to investors, leading to a successful sale.
Building on this success, Kenny joined KGS, where he played a pivotal role in advancing their battery recycling capabilities. He oversaw the commissioning of a state-of-the-art battery recycling line with an annual capacity of 1,000 metric tons of black mass. This achievement marked a significant milestone for KGS and was highlighted by a grand opening ceremony attended by Minister Amy Khor, underscoring the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Recognising the immense potential in battery recycling, Kenny founded 8+1 Advisory Pte Ltd, with a vision centred around the Battery Recycling Ecosystem Value Extraction (BREVE). Under Kenny's leadership, 8+1 Advisory has quickly become a key player in the industry, forging strategic partnerships and driving innovation in sustainable energy practices. Dr. Jerome Lombardi has over three decades of executive experience with global industrial leaders. Exemplifying a blend of executive leadership and scientific innovation, his work has significantly impacted the Asia-Pacific region through initiatives in the circular economy, sustainable manufacturing, and advanced building materials.
From 2014 to 2018, Jerome served as Regional Head of Cement Operations for Holcim Asia Pacific, where he led industrial and sustainability strategies across multiple countries. He played a key role in the Lafarge-Holcim merger, overseeing operations due diligence and asset valuation to ensure a seamless integration. Prior to this, Jerome led GEOCYCLE Asia, Holcim’s waste management division, where his focus on waste-to-energy and recycling minimised environmental impact and improved profitability. Jerome has also held board positions with Holcim Bangladesh and Holcim Sri Lanka and advised private equity firms on sustainability investments.
Since 2022, Jerome has been leading the UrbaX initiative at the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials, National University of Singapore. Focused on waste upcycling, nanotechnology, and geo-engineering, UrbaX underscores Jerome’s pivotal role in advancing green construction solutions and sustainable building practices.
Dr. Malika Meghjani is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Design Pillar at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). She directs the Multi-Agent Robot Vision and Learning (MARVL) Lab, with the focus on algorithm design for efficient, reliable and scalable robots that can work independently and collaboratively with humans. Her research interests are in planning under uncertainty, reinforcement learning, computer vision, deep learning, and game theory. The applications of her work are in field robotics ranging from marine robots specifically, underwater and surface vehicles to self-driving cars and other ground vehicles in unstructured environments.
Malika has been cited by Analytics Insight in 2020 as one of the World's 50 Most Renowned Women in Robotics. She is also 2017 SMART Postdoctoral Scholar, 2015 McGill Scarlet Key recipient, 2013 IEEE Canada Women in Engineering Prize awardee and 2013 Google Anita Borg Scholar.

She is also an Adjunct Professor of Data & AI Strategy and Sustainability at Globis University in Japan. Her entrepreneurial vision has led her to fund startups balancing corporate responsibilities with innovation and risk-taking.
An influential voice in sustainability, Dr. Meri serves on multiple advisory boards and has been recognised as one of the "30 People Changing the World" by the London Business Review. She is passionate about leveraging technology to address climate challenges and is a dedicated ocean conservation advocate and avid sailor.
Hani's journey into marine biology began at 13 when she discovered scuba diving in East Kalimantan. This passion led her to Maluku, where she pursued marine science at Universitas Pattimura and met her future husband, Boen. Together, they would later establish the Juang Laut Lestari (JARI) Foundation with a mission to enhance the health of Indonesia's marine ecosystems through a holistic approach combining education, research, conservation, eco-tourism, and active community involvement.
Observing the local children’s lack of understanding about their own reef ecosystems, Hani subsequently pursued her Master in Environmental Education at The University of Waikato. Her research became the foundation for the Laut Sahabat Kita (‘The Sea is Our Best Friend’) education program, which has been rolled out across numerous primary schools.
Under Hani’s leadership, JARI Foundation has forged international partnerships with Australian schools and the Australia Volunteers Program, fostering educational exchanges and conservation initiatives. In 2023, Hani was awarded the Australian Award Scholarship for Sustainable Tourism Management. She is now collaborating with fishermen and the ‘Women for Marine Conservation’ group to develop community-based marine ecotourism initiatives at JARI.
Janet Shum is the Sustainable Investing Specialist for the Asia Pacific region at Citi Wealth, where she manages the sustainable investing platform with a focus on client engagement, thought leadership, and sustainability due diligence. Celine Schulze is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of 10power9 Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based fund management company. Through its impact fund Narwhale Ventures, the company provides equity and capacity building to ocean-related, sustainability-driven early-stage companies from Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Beyond her role at 10power9, Celine brings her expertise in finance and sustainability to Nanyang Technological University, where she lectures on sustainability principles and practices, carbon markets and mechanisms, and climate finance.

Dr. Daniel Mira-Salama is a Lead Environmental Specialist at the World Bank’s Environment, Natural Resources, and Blue Economy Global Practice, currently based in Singapore. With over 15 years of experience, he has tackled complex environmental sustainability challenges across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.
In his current role, Dr. Mira-Salama provides both technical and strategic leadership to a dynamic team managing a wide-ranging portfolio. His work spans critical areas such as forest and landscape conservation, coastal and marine ecosystem protection, biodiversity preservation, climate resilience, circular economy initiatives, and air pollution mitigation.
A highly skilled expert in environmental sciences, Dr. Mira-Salama’s academic background includes a PhD in Atmospheric Physics, an MSc in Environmental Engineering and Management, and an MSc in Chemical Engineering. Based in Singapore, Joey Goh is the Marine Stewardship Council's key representative covering commercial development as well as marketing and communications for Southeast Asia. Her role is to strategically collaborate with various sectors along the supply chain that trade, procure & sell seafood across seafood brands, the hospitality sector, food service, retailers and supply chain companies. This includes supporting these organisations to fulfil their sustainable seafood sourcing policies and building campaigns to raise awareness and communicate their sustainable seafood commitments in Southeast Asia. She brings more than 20 years of experience having worked across a broad spectrum of fields in both local and multinational corporations. Her key expertise includes branding, consumer insights, and digital marketing, having executed successful campaigns with various corporations while transforming their business with revenue growth.
Mihir Pershad is Founder & CEO of Umami Bioworks, where he is building a team pioneering cultivated, ‘not caught' seafood by crafting delicious, nutritious and affordable cultivated fish that is better for our health, our oceans, and our future.
Mihir has an academic background in protein biochemistry and has spent his career working to commercialize deep tech innovations to address humanity's grand challenges. Most recently, he was a Venture Partner at Early Charm Ventures, where he led the commercialization of university spinouts at the intersection of biotechnology and aquaculture. Mihir is also author of Cultivated Abundance, a book that outlines a framework for entrepreneurs to leverage transformative technologies to build an inspiring, abundant future for humanity.

Dirk Eichelberger is an economist by training with a doctorate from the University of Bern. He spent 17 years working for a multinational family business in the plastics industry and was the CEO of a listed company in Germany specialising in manufacturing smartphone components before pivoting to entrepreneurship.
Since relocating to Singapore for the second time in 2008, Dirk has co-founded Singapore Aquaculture Technologies (SAT) where he focuses on developing innovative, sustainable and technology-driven solutions for fish farming and aquaculture using Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology within floating farms on the marine sea surface.
His work with SAT not only addresses the challenges of food security but also champions the integration of advanced technology into traditional industries, contributing to Singapore's growing ambition as a hub for innovation in this sector and ensuring environmental sustainability.
Nuryanee Anisah is the Co-Founder and CEO of Commenhers, an impact-driven enterprise that provides environmental solutions by upcycling textile waste into high-quality products. Through this innovative approach, Commenhers not only addresses the pressing issue of fabric waste but also empowers individuals by creating employment opportunities for beneficiaries who are integral to the production team.

Abery Lia Chan is the founder of Rebiodive, an organisation dedicated to integrating chemical recycling technologies with biodegradable additives to produce recycled and biodegradable wetsuits. With a foundation in materials science, Abery has seamlessly blended her passion for sustainable fashion with a deep commitment to marine conservation.
Graduating with a B.A. (Hons) in Environmental Studies from Yale-NUS College, Singapore, Abery’s academic journey has fuelled her desire to advance the materials revolution in Southeast Asia, focusing on regenerative design and innovation. She was awarded the 2022 Dean of Students Development Grant, which allowed her to participate in Singapore's first Circular Fashion Immersion Program to Indonesia.
At university, Abery served as President of the Fashion Society, where she directed the curriculum towards eco-conscious design and materials literacy. She organised Singapore’s first university-wide clothes swap and thrift shop on Earth Day in 2024, an event that raised $1.2k for environmental projects in Southeast Asia.

Nicholas Fang is Founder and Managing Director of a leading strategic communications consultancy Black Dot, which provides public relations, media, sponsorship, and marketing consultancy services. The firm’s research arm tracks public sentiment, consumer trends, and marketing issues across different sectors and areas of Singaporean society.
Prior to founding the company, Nicholas had a long and notable career in journalism. He was a journalist for almost a decade at The Straits Times and spent multiple years as a Business Desk Editor at CNA. He was also a Deputy Chief Editor of Singapore news at national broadcaster Mediacorp.
Nicholas has served as Director of Security and Global Affairs at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs since 2010. He also manages a prominent Singaporean defense company and chairs an expert panel for strategic communications at Singapore’s Ministry of Defense.

Ghislaine Nadaud is a Senior Sustainable Investing Specialist within Robeco’s Sustainable Investing Center of Expertise, where she leads engagement programmes on human rights, biodiversity, and Just Transition in Asia. She supports the investment and sales teams across the Asia Pacific with client engagement-related to sustainable and transition investment strategies and holdings. Furthermore, she contributes to Robeco's broader human rights strategy and research.
Before Robeco, Ghislaine led Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s first Asia Pacific ESG Solutions team. Starting her career as a corporate and employment attorney in the Netherlands, she transitioned into banking as legal counsel for ABN AMRO in 2006. By 2011, she had specialised in sustainable banking policy and ESG risk management. Ghislaine moved to Asia in 2016, helping establish ABN AMRO’s first regional sustainable finance department.
Ghislaine holds a Master of Laws from Leiden University and a post-graduate degree in employment and labour law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She also completed the Business and Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge.
Ghislaine has advised the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on sustainability, SDG financing, and human rights, and is a visiting researcher at the National University of Singapore's Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law. She is also a member of the Sustainability Committee at Singapore’s Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Foster, a seasoned entertainment industry professional with two decades of experience as a host, actor, and model, proudly represents Singaporean, British, and Chinese heritage. His dynamic career spans the South East Asian region, encompassing film and TV acting, travel, sports, and info-tainment hosting, as well as emceeing live events, including product/store launches, Gala Dinners, press conferences, and various media functions. Aside from his career on stage and screen, he is passionate about environmental causes, humanitarian efforts and animal welfare and leverages his social media platforms to champion change for the planet and people. Finding this balance in both life and career is so important, and Mr. Foster hopes his efforts in doing so can create more awareness and inspire others to do the same.
